Foreword & Objective: To develop the social culture for a cause "Save girl Child"

Strategy: Pamphlets were distributed in City and gathering media for social cause.

Program Details:

• Program on Social Culture
• The meet sees 300 girls from the city joining in to save the girl child at H K College simultaneously with 4 cities in Gujarat
• A program on Social Culture was held at the Vastrapur Amphitheatre, Ahmedabad, as a precursor to the 60th All India Congress of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (AICOG),. Around 300 women from the city participated in the event which included several Awareness Satellite Programs on social change that pledged women empowerment' and made a strong pitch to 'save the girl child.' A message-laden skit by noted Gujarati actor Archan Trivedi added the perfect glaze to the day.
• The spirit however, was echoed simultaneously in various cities of Gujarat like Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot and Bhuj. Each city saw 500 girls assembling to take the message forward.
• Gautam Shah, Mayor of Ahmedabad, was present on the occasion. Eminent women social activists like Ruzan Khambatta, Esther David and Shirali Mehta of SLU College spearheaded the occasion.
